September 5, 2010 Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

SPY
(Saint Paul Youth Activities)

No Youth Group Tonight!
Sunday, Sept 5
Happy Labor Day
Pray for those without just work

Instead of our normal youth group we will be having a Stop and Go Mass with Father Marty, cook-out, and games with the Holy Family/Sacred Heart Youth Groups at Holy Family Parish. We are gathering in Holy Family Church at 4:00 for a wonderful evening of growing in faith and Catholic fellowship. Come for a wonderful time, and feel free to bring a snack to share, or not. I hope to see you there.

Theology of the Body for Teens!!!

The Great, John Paul II, explains what it really means to be Catholic and be in love and how happy you will be. We are starting our jour-ney to see what God really wants for us mid-September. Contact Ray Knight for more information.

Praying for Life
We will pray across from Planned Parenthood meeting at 1:30 every Tuesday during the summer.
27711 Happy Joe Dr. Bettendorf
Please come to help stop crimes against life.

Attention Parents of Juniors and Seniors!!!

There is a two day Catholic Conference in Des Moines featuring some of the most amazing current Catholic spiritual leaders, including author Matthew Kelley, singer Renee Bondi, and Cardinal Arinze whom many thought was going to become Pope when John Paul II passed.

The conference is Oct. 16 & 17 and is available to anyone. I recommend it as a weekend trip to grow your relationship with your child, God, and yourself.

If this interests you please visit www.christourlifeiowa.com or contact Ray Knight for more information. Financial aid is available; Ray would love to assist you and your youth in making this trip.
