The Hamilton County Corrections is composed of 3 full-service jails located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Hamilton County Justice Center is the division’s primary facility. The Justice Center has an inmate capacity of 1,240. The second facility is the Reading Road Facility, which has an inmate capacity of 172. The third facility is the Woodburn Avenue Facility, which has a capacity of 60 inmates. Each facility provides many programs to the inmates such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Bible Study and adult education classes. Between the 3 facilities, there is an average daily population of 1,524 inmates. Hamilton County books approximately 31,000 inmates per year. How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates are allowed to receive mail from their friends and family members. Letters, greeting cards and pictures are accepted. All mail is open and searched for contraband.

Softback books and magazines are allowed as long as they are sent directly from the distributor.

Funds can be deposited to an inmate’s commissary account online or by mail. The jail uses a 3rd party provider called CommissaryDeposit. To add funds online, visit the CommissaryDeposit website. To add funds by mail, send a money order filled out to the inmate with the inmate’s ID number to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Visitation Hours

Each facility within the Hamilton County Corrections has different visitation days and times. Maximum of 4 people, including children per visit.

The Hamilton County Justice Center utilizes video visitation through a 3rd party provider called Securus Technologies. Visitation can take place onsite or remote.

Onsite Visitation at Hamilton County Justice Center:

Monday-Friday: 11 am to 6:30 pm

Remote Visitation at Hamilton County Justice Center:

Monday-Saturday: 9 am to 8:40 pm
Sunday: 11 am to 8:40 pm

The Reading Road Facility only has onsite visitation. Visits are limited to 15 minutes. The days and times for inmates to visit is based on which floor they are housed in.

1st Floor:
Monday: 3pm to 5 pm
Wednesday: 6pm to 8 pm
Saturday: 3 pm to 5 pm

2nd Floor:
Tuesday: 6pm to 8 pm
Thursday: 6pm to 8 pm
Sunday: 6pm to 8 pm

3rd Floor:
Monday: 6 pm to 8 pm
Friday: 1 pm to 3 pm
Saturday: 6pm to 8 pm

The Woodburn Ave Facility only has onsite visitation. Visits are limited to 15 minutes.

Saturday and Sunday: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

The Hamilton County Corrections has a public inmate roster. The roster lists the inmates who are currently housed in one of the Hamilton County Corrections facilities. The inmates are listed in alphabetical order by last name. The inmate’s full name, inmate number, booking number, housing location, mugshot, charges and bond amount will be listed.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has a most wanted list. The fugitive’s name, mugshot, identifying features and reason they are wanted is listed. The list also features pictures of suspects and the crimes they are suspected of committing.
